07/31/2026, 11:02The State Development Bank of Kyrgyzstan paid the Cabinet of Ministers 855,588,000 KGS in dividends for the year ending 2025. The entire amount due has been paid in full.
According to the annual financial statements, the bank’s net profit for 2025 amounted to 862.98 million KGS. Consequently, approximately 99.1 per cent of the annual profit was allocated to dividends.
However, the bank’s financial performance declined. Whilst it earned 1.09 billion KGS in 2024, net profit for the year fell by 223.6 million KGS, or 20.6 per cent.
This decline occurred against the backdrop of a near halving of net interest income – from 896.7 million KGS to 452.5 million KGS. This was partially offset by growth in income from investment activities, which rose from 472.2 million KGS to 679.5 million KGS.
Despite the decline in profit, the State Development Bank’s assets grew by 10.8 per cent over the year — from 21.23 billion KGS to 23.53 billion KGS. The volume of net loans more than doubled, reaching 4.18 billion KGS compared with 1.96 billion KGS a year earlier. The bank’s capital stood at 22.7 billion KGS at the end of 2025.
