07/24/2025, 10:11A draft law has been prepared in Kyrgyzstan that will allow certain specialists to hold administrative state and municipal positions without having to pass a competitive examination. This applies to citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have worked for more than two years in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), as well as former political civil servants.
As explained in the explanatory note to the document, such employees are highly qualified, have international experience, and are knowledgeable about EAEU standards. Their experience can be useful in the development of public administration and integration processes.
In addition, it is proposed to give those who previously held political positions — ministers, deputies, akims, and others — the opportunity to return to the civil service. According to the authors of the initiative, this will help preserve management experience and ensure continuity in personnel.
