Over 9,000 structures dismantled in Bishkek on the mayor's orders

The Land Use Control Department of the Bishkek City Hall continues its large-scale campaign to dismantle temporary and illegally installed structures. The latest work was carried out at the intersection of Zhibek-Zholu Avenue and Osmonkul Street, near the old railway station.

By decision of the city commission, six capital structures whose lease terms have expired will be dismantled here. After completion of the work, approximately 700 square meters of municipal land will be freed up. It is planned to improve and landscape the area.

Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev previously instructed that the cleaning of social institutions' territories be intensified. As part of this campaign, the Land Use Control Department has dismantled more than 9,000 structures throughout the city in 11 months.
