06/28/2026, 14:00Farms in most regions of Kyrgyzstan have entered the spring planting season with a high level of seed availability for major agricultural crops. This is evidenced by data from the National Statistics Committee as of April 1, 2026.
The highest levels of wheat seed availability were recorded in the Osh Region—99.4%, the Batken and Jalal-Abad Regions—99.2% each, and the Chui Region—99.1%.
Farms in the Issyk-Kul and Talas regions are fully supplied with corn seeds, while in the Jalal-Abad region, the supply rate reached 99.9%. The Issyk-Kul, Chui, and Talas regions are 100% supplied with potato seeds, while the Jalal-Abad region is 99.9% supplied.
At the same time, the lowest corn seed supply rate was recorded in the Naryn region—17.1%. Farms in the Talas Region are fully supplied with sugar beet seeds, while in the Chui Region, this figure stands at 65.9%.
The data is provided by the National Statistics Committee as of April 1 and reflects the level of seed supply to farms for spring planting.
