06/28/2026, 13:44Since the beginning of 2026, cucumbers, apples, tomatoes, and cabbage have seen the sharpest price increases in Kyrgyzstan. These figures were released by the National Statistics Committee based on first-quarter results.
Compared to December 2025, prices for cucumbers rose by 35.9%, apples by 31.1%, tomatoes by 27.7%, and cabbage by 24.8%. Potatoes rose in price by 2.9%.
At the same time, onion prices fell by 2.1%, carrot prices by 0.5%, and beet prices by 1.3%.
In March alone, the most significant price increases were seen for tomatoes (up 13.2%), apples (up 12.7%), and cabbage (up 10.4%). Cucumbers rose in price by 2.3%, while potatoes fell by 0.8%, onions by 2.4%, carrots by 1.6%, and beets by 2.3%.
The statistics reflect changes in consumer prices for specific types of fruits and vegetables based on the results for March and the first quarter of 2026.
