12/03/2025, 11:57Director of Ala-Too Resort Zharqynbek Maksutov and Matthias Schmid, Director of SkiMIS, who has more than 20 years of experience in managing and operating leading ski resorts in the Alps, Scandinavia, New Zealand and Eastern Europe, signed an agreement on the provision of consulting services for the ski resort project.
SkiMIS, which provides individual consulting services for the development of modern winter tourist destinations and their effective operation, will organise all the necessary construction work at the largest resort in Central Asia throughout the year: slopes, lifts, snowmaking systems, snow removal, avalanche control, as well as a ski school and entry-exit systems. In addition, the company will help to jointly plan and optimise the architectural, technical and operational aspects of the resort. Thanks to its experience in working to international standards, Ala-Too Resort will be able to become a professional tourist facility.
As part of the Ala-Too Resort ski resort project, supported by the state and President Sadyr Zhaparov, SkiMIS provides extensive expertise in conceptual design, operational planning and implementation of solutions in a practical, independent and results-oriented format.
The company acts not only as a traditional consultant, but also provides all the necessary assistance for the construction of the resort in accordance with international standards, ensuring the effective functioning of processes, systems and structures in day-to-day operations. This creates the conditions for the creation of a sustainable, economically successful and fully operational ski resort using advanced international experience.
