05/14/2026, 13:57At today’s session of the Jogorku Kenesh on 14 May, MPs considered the matter of appointing an external auditor for the National Bank for the period 2026–2028.
The information was presented by Zhyldyz Suleimanbekova, a member of the National Bank’s Board.
As she noted, having reviewed and discussed the proposals submitted by audit firms to participate in the tender for the audit of the National Bank’s consolidated and separate financial statements for 2026–2028, the tender committee selected the audit firm Grant Thornton LLP as the winner of the tender.
Following the discussion, Grant Thornton LLP was approved as the National Bank’s external auditor for 2026–2028, and a corresponding resolution was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh.
