01/11/2026, 17:13Maksat Kocherov, Director of the Department of Plant Protection and Quarantine, conducted an unscheduled inspection of the Ak-Tileq and Kant phytosanitary control points located near the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border.
During the inspection, instructions were given on strict compliance with phytosanitary requirements and strengthening phytosanitary control during the import and export of quarantine products by participants in foreign economic activity.
In the event of violations of plant quarantine legislation, appropriate measures must be taken, including the return, destruction, or decontamination of agricultural products of plant origin.
It was also envisaged that cargoes that do not meet the phytosanitary requirements of the EAEU and pose a threat to phytosanitary safety would not be allowed into the territory of the republic.
