The state institution ‘Kyzmat’ has officially become the technical operator of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan

The state institution ‘Kyzmat’ under the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic has been granted the status of official technical operator of the Central Election Commission (CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic).

The institution is now responsible for the development, modernisation and maintenance of all automated systems used in the preparation and conduct of elections and referendums in the country.

Kyzmat's key tasks include

  • developing and supporting information systems, including the Unified Voter Registration System;
  • protecting citizens' personal and biometric data;
  • updating voter lists based on state databases;
  • configuring equipment for voter identification;
  • integrating with other state systems;
  • implementing changes to software in accordance with legal requirements.

According to the CEC, granting Kyzmot this status will increase the transparency of the electoral process, strengthen public confidence, enhance cybersecurity, and optimise budget expenditures by centralising technical functions.

In the future, the institution plans to implement new digital solutions to take Kyrgyzstan's election system and government services to a new level.
