The investment will enable an increase in poultry meat production, reduce Kyrgyzstan’s reliance on imports and expand cooperation with local farmers, processors and distributors.
The funding constitutes the second tranche of a total $20 million investment package from the IFC, allocated to expand the company’s business. The first phase of funding was announced in July 2025.
According to IFC estimates, the project will support around 3,900 jobs within the company and related sectors. Of these, more than 250 jobs are planned to be created directly within the company. A further 730 or so temporary jobs will be created during the construction phase.
Myrzabek Orumbayev, Managing Director of Adal Azyk LLP, stated that the funding will help the company transition to a more integrated ‘farm-to-table’ production model, increase output and strengthen supply chains.
In addition to the financing, the IFC will provide advisory support on decarbonisation, energy efficiency, corporate governance, biosecurity and animal health.
The project is being implemented with the support of a local currency financing facility under the International Development Association’s Private Sector Window (IDA PSW). This will reduce currency risks for the company and ensure financing in local currency.
