The gambling business brought almost 425 million KGS to the Kyrgyz budget

Revenues to the Kyrgyz budget from gambling taxes for January–November 2025 amounted to 424 million 842 thousand KGS. This is according to data on the execution of the state budget.

Casinos provided the bulk of the revenue—404.7 million KGS, or more than 95% of all revenues from the gambling sector.

Other areas contributed significantly less:

  • slot machines — 7.1 million KGS;
  • bookmakers and totalizators — 6.5 million KGS;
  • online casinos and virtual casinos — 6.6 million KGS.

All revenues from gambling activities were credited to the republican budget.

For comparison, in January–November 2024, tax revenues from gambling activities amounted to 271.2 million KGS. At that time, the structure of revenues was as follows:

  • casinos — 258.3 million KGS;
  • slot machines — 1.8 million KGS;
  • bookmakers and totalizators — 11 million KGS;
  • online casinos — less than 60,000 KGS.

Thus, over the year, budget revenues from the gambling business grew by more than 150 million KGS, or approximately 57%. The growth was primarily driven by increased revenues from casinos and a significant expansion of the online casino segment, which in 2024 had virtually no tax base.
