A game created in Kyrgyzstan conquers the global stage of IGN

Kyrgyzstan-based studio 4tale Production has presented its project Steel Ark on the global platform IGN, one of the world's largest video game media outlets. The game trailer garnered over 90,000 views in just two days, becoming a notable event not only for the development team but also for the entire gaming industry in Kyrgyzstan.

Steel Ark is a first-person post-apocalyptic survival game where players control a mobile base — a train that must be kept moving in order to survive in the harsh conditions of the wasteland. The game is being developed by 4tale Production, a resident of the Kyrgyzstan High-Tech Park (KHT), which creates favourable conditions for IT companies and helps them enter the international market.

In August 2025, 4tale Production, together with the HTP, will represent Kyrgyzstan for the first time at Europe's largest video game exhibition, Gamescom, in Cologne. Participation in this event opens up new opportunities for the domestic gaming industry and highlights Kyrgyzstan's growing role on the global game development map.

It should be noted that this is not the first game made in the Kyrgyz Republic. World of One, the first computer game created by Kyrgyz developers, became known in the global gaming community while it was still in the idea stage.
