Overall petrol imports into Kyrgyzstan have fallen, but supplies from Kazakhstan have risen

At the same time, supplies from Kazakhstan have risen significantly.

In the first two months of 2026, 133.9 million litres of petrol worth $58.8 million were imported into Kyrgyzstan, which is lower than the figures for the same period last year, when the volume stood at 171.1 million litres.

Russia remains the main supplier, accounting for over 1,317 million litres of fuel worth $57.7 million. However, compared to last year, supplies from Russia have decreased.

At the same time, imports from Kazakhstan have more than doubled, reaching 1.16 million litres worth $549,800, which significantly exceeds last year’s figures in terms of both volume and value. Smaller supplies were also recorded from Belarus.
