    KASE index fell due to the fall in prices for shares of ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’

    On the trading floor of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KASE) for the period from 27 to 31 January 2025 the total volume of trades in the amount of KGS 23.23 million was recorded, 60.2% of this volume were transactions with shares, including transactions with securities of OJSC ‘Kyrgyzneftegaz’.

    In the primary market 31 deals were registered in corporate bonds for KGS 9.25 million, among which issues of MFK ABN OJSC, Stroy Dom LLP and MFK Elet Capital CJSC stood out.

    The secondary market showed trading volume of KGS 13.98 mln, mainly through deals in common shares of the companies. The most interesting were shares of Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, with which several deals were made for KGS 10.15 million, as well as shares of UBG Invest CJSC for KGS 3.7 million. In total, the volume of deals in securities of listed companies amounted to KGS 19.53 million, which is 84.1% of the total volume of trades.

    As of January 31, 2025, the capitalisation of the KASE market reached KGS 160.96 billion, however, the stock exchange index decreased to 4619.16 points (-51.21) due to the fall in prices for the shares of Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC.
