The KSE index rose by 57% over the year and exceeded 6,500 points.

At the end of August, the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange recorded growth in key indicators. On 31 August, the stock exchange index reached 6,557.92 points, and the total market capitalisation amounted to 228.52 billion KGS.

For comparison, a year ago, at the end of August 2024, the KSE index stood at 3,757.94 points, and capitalisation was 130.95 billion KGS. Thus, the growth for the year was 57.32%. This indicates market activation and increased investor confidence.

Today, the official KSE listing includes securities of 36 companies, as well as 12-month treasury bills and 2-year bonds of the Ministry of Finance.

In addition, shares of the strategically important enterprise OJSC Airports of Kyrgyzstan continue to be traded in category ‘A’.

We would like to add that on 24 September, the stock exchange index had already reached 6,605 points, and capitalisation had reached 230.2 billion KGS.
