The volume of work performed by small and medium-sized businesses in 2024 reached 185.2 billion KGS. For comparison, in 2020, this figure was almost three times lower — 70 billion KGS.
Medium-sized companies showed the fastest growth. While in 2022 they performed work worth only 7.8 billion KGS, by 2024 this figure had risen to 25.2 billion. Small businesses also grew significantly, from 19 billion KGS in 2020 to 65 billion in 2024.
However, individual entrepreneurs continue to play the leading role. Last year alone, they carried out work worth 95 billion KGS, which is more than half of the total volume. Small contractors remain the most flexible and are quicker to adapt to demand in the construction market.
