06/26/2026, 13:49Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree granting foreigners and stateless persons who have violated immigration laws the opportunity to voluntarily leave the country between July 1 and July 31, 2026, without facing certain penalties.
The decree applies to foreigners who are in Kyrgyzstan with an expired visa or residence permit, without registration, without a work permit, or with documents that have expired. It also applies to individuals who have remained in the country after the expiration of their legal period of stay or who are using a purpose of stay that does not correspond to the one declared upon entry.
If such individuals leave Kyrgyzstan voluntarily by July 31, they will be exempt from administrative liability for violating migration laws, as well as from paying the fee for an exit visa.
Thus, the authorities have provided a one-month period to regularize their status through voluntary departure, after which violators may be subject to measures provided for by law.
Authorized state agencies have been tasked with implementing the decree, including conducting informational and explanatory work among foreign citizens.
The decree entered into force on the date of its official publication.
