02/19/2026, 11:29In 2025, the professional field of ‘Information Technology’ retained its status as one of the most active in the Kyrgyz labour market. According to data from the HeadHunter platform (headhunter.kg), employers increased the number of job postings, while job seekers became more active in posting their CVs.
The core of demand remains in the specialisation of ‘Programmer, Developer’: 30.8% of all IT vacancies and a 19.3% increase by 2024. The median salary offered is 64,009 KGS. Among the most dynamic areas are ‘Designer, artist’ (+28.7%), ‘Project manager’ (+24.2%) and ‘System administrator’ (+21.3%).
The highest median offers were recorded for ‘Chief Information Officer (CIO)’ — 87,462 KGS, ‘Project Manager’ — 81,899 KGS, and ‘DevOps Engineer’ — 78,408 KGS.
At the same time, the competition index reached 12.3: on average, there are 12 CVs per vacancy. Over the year, the indicator grew by 2.5%, which indicates increased competition for jobs in the IT segment.
