02/19/2026, 10:49In the village of Birdik, Issyk-Ata district, Chui region, employees of the State Tax Service discovered a batch of tobacco products without excise stamps.
According to the agency, during a tax inspection raid, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle was stopped while transferring goods to another vehicle.
The inspection revealed that the minibus was carrying ORIS and ZUMERRET cigarettes without excise stamps. The total volume of seized products amounted to 21,900 packs.
The relevant reports have been drawn up on this fact. Procedural decisions are currently being taken in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The vehicle has been impounded at a specialised penalty parking lot until all the circumstances of the case have been clarified.
