Kyrgyzstan digitises regional administration

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev spoke at a round table dedicated to the digitisation of public administration and the introduction of modern management tools.

The main focus was on the state-run automated information system ‘Sanarip Aimak,’ which creates a unified digital space for regional administration. The system facilitates data exchange between departments and centralises databases, allowing for the development of regional strategies based on a unified methodology.

Amangeldiev noted that the digitisation of governance goes hand in hand with reforms and the improvement of officials' competencies, as well as the simplification of procedures and a clear distribution of responsibilities between levels of government. He emphasised that the transition to data-driven governance should be a tool for improving the quality of life of citizens across the country.

Particular attention was paid to the support of international partners. The Effective Governance for Economic Growth project, implemented with the assistance of the UK Government and the World Bank, is accelerating the introduction of digital solutions and new institutional mechanisms.

The Sanarip Aimak system is already positioned as a key element for integrated and transparent management of Kyrgyzstan's regions.
