03/27/2026, 10:34The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved regulations on the procedures for conducting tax audits. The relevant Resolution No. 196 was signed on 26 March 2026 as part of the implementation of the provisions of the Tax Code.
The document establishes uniform rules for conducting tax audits and aims to systematise control procedures. The State Tax Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has been instructed to bring its decisions and internal regulations into line with the approved procedure.
It is expected that the introduction of the new regulations will increase the transparency of interactions between businesses and tax authorities, as well as reduce administrative risks for taxpayers. The resolution will come into force 15 days after its official publication.
