03/27/2026, 12:00Bishkek City Council plans to complete the renovation work on the Urkui Salieva Fountain. According to public procurement data, 12,256,100 KGS have been earmarked for this purpose.
According to the scope of works, the contractor is to carry out a range of tasks: from waterproofing the fountain basin and laying pipework to installing pumping equipment, filtration systems and electrical equipment. Landscaping works are also planned – laying paving stones, installing kerbstones, drainage systems, benches and litter bins.
Engineering and electrical works form a separate package, including the installation of cable lines, distribution boards, lighting and an audio system.
The completion date will be determined in accordance with the terms of the contract and the approved schedule, the City Hall has announced.
The fountain is located in one of the capital’s public spaces and, according to plans, is set to become part of the city’s upgraded infrastructure.
