The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced compensation payments for Social Fund employees

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has amended the terms of remuneration for Social Fund staff. Presidential compensation payments of 15,000 KGS are provided for employees of departmental units and regional bodies, and 5,000 KGS for technical and support staff.

The relevant amendments have been made to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 408 of 29 July 2022 on the terms of remuneration for Social Fund employees.

According to the document, compensation of 15,000 KGS will be paid to staff of departmental units and regional bodies for time actually worked, but not exceeding one full-time equivalent.

For technical and support staff, a payment of 5,000 KGS per full-time equivalent is provided for.

However, these compensation payments will not be taken into account when calculating annual leave pay, health benefits, the thirteenth month’s salary, or allowances for working and living in high-altitude and remote areas.

Furthermore, the document provides for allowances of up to 50 per cent of the basic salary for high qualifications, the complexity, quality and effectiveness of work, professional initiative and irregular working hours.

For technical and support staff, a similar allowance will be calculated on the basis of time actually worked.

The Social Fund has also been instructed to bring its regulatory acts into line with the adopted amendments.
