The mayor of Balykchy explained how the city is being improved

Mayor of Balykchy Baatyrbek Zhantaev told President Sadyr Zhaparov about the work being done to improve the city.

The mayor spoke about the renovation of the arch at the entrance to the city and the relocation of the fish market to eliminate traffic jams on the ring road. To this end, a modern market will be built, providing comfortable conditions for both sellers and buyers.
President Sadyr Zhaparov also inspected the bus station in the city of Balykchy after its major renovation.

The bus station was built in the 1970s. For many years, it was privately owned. In April 2025, the bus station was transferred to the municipal property management of the Balykchy City Council.

Later, its complete renovation began. All premises were repaired. The bus station has a hotel for passengers and a hostel for employees. The surrounding area has been landscaped.
The head of state inspected the modern waiting room, premises for drivers and service personnel, and the control room.

Here, Sadyr Zhaparov talked with local residents, listening to their suggestions and appeals, including on the construction of a kindergarten, a mosque and other social facilities.
