The President's Plenipotentiary Representative in the Issyk-Kul Region, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, held a meeting with a delegation of foreign investors. The delegation included representatives of the Chinese company Hunan Junxin Huabao, led by its CEO, Dai Daoguo.

During the meeting, an investment project for the construction of modern waste incineration plants in Balykchy and the Ak-Suu district was presented. The aim of the project is to improve the environmental situation in the region and introduce an effective solid waste management system.

It was noted that the investors are implementing a similar project in Bishkek and are ready to apply their experience in the Issyk-Kul region. They presented a preliminary feasibility study and expressed their readiness to start construction as early as 2025.

Following the meeting, a framework agreement was signed between the regional authorities and the Chinese company. Under the agreement, investors will undertake the construction of facilities, equip them with modern equipment and train local specialists.
