Kambar-Atinskaya HPP-1: infrastructure preparation work is proceeding according to schedule

One of the key energy projects in Kyrgyzstan, the construction of the Kambar-Ata HPP-1, continues. According to the Ministry of Energy, preparatory work is proceeding according to schedule and is nearing completion.

The construction of a transport tunnel, through which equipment and building materials are safely delivered, has been fully completed. More than two-thirds of the new roads to the dam and construction sites are ready. Work on the installation of ventilation and lighting systems in the tunnel, as well as its internal concreting, is in its final stages.

A significant part of the power line and substation that will supply electricity to all construction sites has been built. Construction of a shift camp for workers and specialists is continuing, and a new bridge is being built on the banks of the Naryn River, which will provide convenient access to the future hydropower plant building.
