Kamchybek Tashiev left the Ministry of Internal Affairs after questioning

Kamchybek Tashiev, former chairman of the State Committee for National Security, has finished giving evidence and left the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Earlier, media reports stated that he had been summoned for questioning as a witness.

Tashiev arrived in Kyrgyzstan on 18 March from abroad and was invited to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the same day for investigative procedures.

It should be recalled that on 10 February he was relieved of his post as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State Committee for National Security. Following this, on 17 February, he left the country, and returned a month later to give evidence to the investigators.
