Kazakh e-money system loses its registration with the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has revoked the registration of ‘RPS Asia’ LLP, the operator of the international e-money system ‘Yurta’. The decision was taken by the National Bank’s Supervisory Committee on 20 August 2026.

The reason was the company’s failure to carry out activities in Kyrgyzstan as an operator of an international electronic money system. “RPS Asia” was registered in Kazakhstan on 16 January 2023, after which it underwent the registration procedure with the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.

The ‘Yurta’ electronic money system was registered at the following address: 110E Al-Farabi Avenue, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Following the cancellation of its registration, the company has been removed from the list of operators of international electronic money systems and issuers of international electronic money registered with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
