These are the findings of a survey conducted by the headhunter.kg platform, in which 293 jobseekers took part.
A further 19 per cent of respondents reported that they had changed two employers over the past five years. Thirteen per cent of those surveyed had changed either three or five or more employers. A further 5 per cent had changed four companies during this period.
However, the length of time job seekers spend with a single employer varies. 20 per cent usually work at one company for more than five years, whilst 18 per cent have so far only worked at one company. 14 per cent each indicated periods of between six months and one year, between one and two years, and between two and three years.
A further 12 per cent usually work for one company for between three and five years, whilst 9 per cent work for less than six months. Meanwhile, 28 per cent of survey respondents do not believe there is a universal optimal length of time to spend with a single employer for the sake of one’s career.
