10/23/2025, 11:01From 21 to 23 October, Istanbul hosted the 64th General Assembly of the World Federation of Exchanges, the largest international platform bringing together leaders of the world's leading exchange institutions. The forum was attended by about 250 representatives from more than 90 countries, including top managers, regulators and experts from the global capital market.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange also took part in the event: Chairman of the Board of Directors Talantbek Omuraliev and Acting President Aida Chodulova.
It should be noted that the event was organised by the Istanbul Stock Exchange, which is one of the shareholders of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange. Moreover, it recently increased its share.
We would like to add that, as part of their working visit to Turkey, representatives of the KSE held a meeting with the Vice President of the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Güzban Gülay, and the Director of International Relations and Business Development, Mahmut Aydogmus. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation.
The parties agreed on further cooperation in the development of the precious metals market, discussed issues of cooperation in the development of gold trading and the possibility of signing a joint roadmap in this direction.
