03/03/2026, 14:49From February 24 to 27, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Mederbek Tumanov made a working trip to London aimed at promoting the country's investment potential and access to international capital markets.
During the trip, Tumanov took part in a meeting of the Kyrgyz-British Business Council, where projects in the field of critical minerals, financial market development, and strengthening banking cooperation were discussed. The event was attended by about 60 representatives of government agencies and businesses from the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Kingdom, which indicates growing interest in the Central Asian region.
Special mention was made of participation in the Kyrgyz Republic Capital Markets Day together with Oppenheimer and Citi. Macroeconomic indicators and measures to strengthen public finances aimed at improving the country's sovereign credit rating were presented.
