11/28/2024, 13:26Kyrgyz honey is planned to be included in the register of the European Union in early 2025. This issue was discussed at the meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev with the Hungarian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Mr. Dorogi Sandor and representatives of Hungarian companies working in the field of agriculture.
Among the topics discussed were the export of Kyrgyz honey to the EU and the introduction of a system for monitoring residues in the product. The monitoring plan has already been sent to the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety of the European Commission. This is an important step to promote Kyrgyz products on the European market.
The meeting also discussed the prospects of importing breeding animals from Europe for the development of livestock breeding in Kyrgyzstan. The meeting participants agreed on further cooperation with Hungarian companies, including such organizations as Agrofeed Rus LtD, Babolna Tetra Ltd, Woodstock KFT and Fulmer Apiary.
