11/09/2025, 16:26The China-Central Asia 2025 construction conference was held in Beijing. The event covered a number of important topics in the field of construction and included special bilateral meetings.
A delegation led by Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities Nurdan Oruntaev took part in the conference. In addition, delegations from the construction ministries and departments of several countries, national urban planning policy institutes, research centers, industry associations, and construction companies from Central Asia and the People's Republic of China took part.
Ministers spoke during the main part of the conference, and their deputies presented reports and analytical materials during the subsequent sessions.
The conference became a key international platform for discussing issues related to the introduction of innovative technologies in construction and architecture, the development of energy-efficient and sustainable cities, and the expansion of industrial and technological partnerships.
Particular attention was paid to promoting the Beijing Initiative, which provides for the expansion of scientific and technical cooperation, the harmonization of construction standards, the implementation of joint demonstration projects in the field of green construction and urban development, and the exchange of advanced technologies and experience.
The parties noted that the Beijing Initiative will serve as a tool for long-term partnership and will contribute to the development of complementary projects in the fields of construction, urban development, and housing policy.
