Kyrgyzstan has increased its exports of soft drinks by almost 40% — exports to Russia have ceased

Between January and March 2026, Kyrgyzstan exported 3.75 million litres of beverages, including mineral and carbonated drinks containing sugar, worth $1.87 million. Compared with the same period last year, the volume of exports rose by almost 40% — exports then stood at 2.69 million litres.

Kazakhstan remains the main buyer of Kyrgyz beverages. 3.54 million litres of products worth $1.7 million were shipped there, which is 42% more than last year’s figure.

Significant growth was also recorded in supplies to Uzbekistan — exports increased by almost 52%, to 125,000 litres. Volumes to China rose by 23%, and to South Korea by almost 59%.

The sharpest surge occurred in exports to Lithuania. Whereas just 1,600 litres were shipped there a year ago, this year the figure has already reached almost 40,000 litres.

At the same time, supplies to Russia and Afghanistan have ceased entirely. Exports to Germany fell from 7,290 litres to just 10 litres. Supplies to the Czech Republic have also stopped.

The highest average price for Kyrgyz drinks was recorded for supplies to China — around $1 per litre. The product cost almost the same for Lithuania. The lowest price was for exports to South Korea – around $0.38 per litre.

On average, Kyrgyzstan exported sweet drinks at a price of around $0.5 per litre.
