836 violations in the field of subsoil use have been identified in Kyrgyzstan — around 500 licences have already been revoked

The Ministry of Natural Resources has carried out a large-scale inspection of subsoil use licences. The audit revealed 836 violations, and around 500 licences have already been suspended or revoked.

The audit covered 1,981 active subsoil use licences. The authorities examined compliance with the terms of licence agreements and adherence to legal requirements.

Among the most common violations were the failure to provide notifications regarding reclamation accounts, non-payment of bonuses, the expiry of licence terms, and non-compliance with mandatory terms of the agreements.
