The total amount of established damages amounted to 72 billion 759 million soms. Of this sum, 70 billion 680 million soms were returned to the state, corresponding to 97.1%. In effect, almost all of the identified losses have been recovered.
The main contribution to the recovery was made by key law enforcement and supervisory bodies. The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) led the way in terms of funds recovered, ensuring the return of over 67.9 billion som. This was followed by the prosecution service with 1.4 billion som, the Ministry of Internal Affairs with 884.3 million som, and the customs authorities, which recovered over 426.7 million som.
However, a small shortfall of around 2 billion som remains, which is the subject of further legal proceedings and recovery efforts.
