Kyrgyzstan to allocate 50 million KGS to compensate manufacturers for certification costs

In Kyrgyzstan, domestic manufacturers will be partially reimbursed for the costs of product certification and laboratory testing carried out abroad. A total of 50 million KGS has been earmarked for this purpose.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the relevant resolution on 8 October 2026. The state agency ‘Kyrgyz Export’ will begin accepting applications and providing compensation from 1 January 2027.  This was reported in the newspaper ‘Erkin Too’.

The compensation will cover certification and recertification by accredited conformity assessment bodies, as well as product testing in overseas laboratories. A list of international standards and certification schemes, the costs of which may be partially reimbursed, has been approved in a separate annex to the resolution.
The measure is aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers and boosting Kyrgyzstan’s export potential.
