10/30/2024, 14:08The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the decree changing the order of stay of foreign citizens in the country. According to the new rules, a visa-free regime is introduced for organised tourist groups from China.
Groups must consist of 5 to 25 people and follow a pre-agreed tourist programme to take advantage of this benefit. With the consent of the authorised tourism authority, such groups can stay in Kyrgyzstan for up to 21 days without a visa, provided they have return air tickets to their own country or a third country. It is also important to note that after leaving the country, tourists will be allowed to re-enter after 21 days.
The new visa-free regime aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation with China, increase tourist flow and develop mutually beneficial economic ties between the two countries.
