09/01/2025, 10:23In Naryn, law enforcement officers detained a high-ranking official and the head of a construction company. They are suspected of violations during the repair of two central streets of the city—Zhumagul Sheraliev and Lenin.
The investigation was launched by the State Committee for National Security and the local police. They found that there may have been serious abuses during the work, which has been ongoing for the past two years.
As a result, on August 31, the following individuals were detained:
Both suspects are currently in the At-Bashinsky District Detention Center. The police and security services are continuing to investigate the case and are checking whether other officials were involved in the violations.
