Only 37% of the total amount is planned to be covered by domestic resources, while 63% will have to be raised from international donors and investors. To streamline this process, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce proposes to create a Green Financing Fund.
The new institution will serve as a single coordinator for external partners and investors, accumulating and distributing funds for projects in the fields of clean energy, environmentally friendly transport and sustainable agriculture. The fund should become a gateway for global investment in Kyrgyzstan's green economy and make processes more transparent and understandable for international organisations.
