China has confirmed its participation in the 6th World Nomad Games

Ulan Mamatkanov held a meeting with Liu Jiangping, China’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kyrgyzstan, during which the parties specifically discussed the Chinese delegation’s participation in the 6th World Nomad Games.

The meeting took place today, May 14, at “Yntymak Ordo.” The parties noted the high level of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China and discussed the further development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in continuing joint humanitarian initiatives. At the same time, Ulan Mamatkanov separately welcomed the upcoming participation of the Chinese delegation in the 6th World Nomad Games.

The Chinese side regularly participates in the World Nomad Games and views the event not only as a sporting occasion but also as a tool for cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

As a reminder, on March 6, a working meeting between representatives of Kyrgyzstan and China took place at the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games, during which the Chinese delegation’s participation in the 6th Games was discussed.

In addition, the Kyrgyz side announced that it was considering the possibility of including one of the traditional Chinese wrestling styles in the Games’ exhibition program. The Chinese Embassy also noted at the time the Chinese side’s keen interest in sending not only a sports team but also representatives of cultural and scientific programs.

The fact that the opening of the 6th World Nomad Games will coincide with SCO events lends particular significance to this cooperation.
