04/10/2026, 10:41Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev held talks with international investors on April 9 regarding a project to build a pharmaceutical plant.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Eurasian Healthcare Development, Qinhuangdao Taizhi Medical Technology Company Limited, and LEKAM.
The parties discussed the creation of a pharmaceutical complex that will produce a wide range of products: solid oral dosage forms, liquid preparations, ointments, and sterile medicinal products. The total investment is estimated at $25 million, and the project’s implementation will create up to 800 jobs.
The Mailuu-Suu Lamp Factory has been selected as the site for the production facility, which could provide a boost to the region’s industrial revitalization.
Following the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev confirmed the government’s readiness to cooperate with investors and emphasized that relevant government agencies will provide the necessary support for the project’s implementation.
