China's Qingdao has donated a wood waste processing crusher to Bishkek

A modern wood chipper has been put into operation in Bishkek with the support of the partner city of Qingdao. The equipment, with a capacity of 230 kW and a throughput of up to 30 tonnes per hour, has been installed at the municipal enterprise Bishkekzelenstroy and is powered by an autonomous generator.

The crusher was provided under an agreement between the Bishkek City Council and the administration of the Chinese city of Qingdao. Now the capital has the opportunity to process wood waste collected in parks and on streets into an environmentally friendly substrate.

After crushing, the branches are turned into mulch, a moisture-retaining material that improves soil structure and promotes urban greening.

The launch of the crusher is another step towards implementing Bishkek's environmental initiatives aimed at improving the quality of the urban environment and introducing modern waste processing technologies.
