The boiler house at the National Exhibition Centre is to be transferred to the ownership of Bishkek City Council

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has decided to transfer the boiler house at the National Exhibition Centre, which is currently on the books of the ‘Bishkek’ Free Economic Zone Directorate, to the municipal ownership of the capital’s city council. The relevant Resolution No. 528 was signed by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on 7 August 2026.

The property in question is situated at 303 Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue, together with a plot of land measuring 0.39 hectares. As noted in the document, the decision was taken to address Bishkek’s heating supply issues more effectively and promptly.

The City Council has been instructed to take the boiler house and the plot of land into municipal ownership, ensure their preservation and use them for their intended purpose.

In connection with the transfer of the facility, the boundaries of the ‘Bishkek’ Free Economic Zone have also been adjusted: its area will be reduced from 346.6208 to 346.2308 hectares.

The resolution will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
