The ‘Teplye Klyuchi’ cottages, costing 8 million KGS, are due to be renovated in 10 days

The Ala-Archa State Nature Park has announced a repeat tender for the renovation of the cottages at the ‘Teplye Klyuchi’ health and wellness complex. A total of 8.15 million KGS is earmarked for the work, which the contractor is required to complete within 10 days.

According to the public procurement portal, bids from potential contractors are being accepted until 25 June. The work will be funded by the state institution. The total amount earmarked for the renovation is 8,149,691 KGS.

The defect report indicates that a large-scale refurbishment of the cottages’ interiors is planned. The project involves replacing over 100 square metres of doors, laying more than 320 square metres of carpet, installing suspended ceilings, fitting MDF skirting boards, cladding the walls with European-quality bamboo panels, and painting the interior.

In addition, the lighting is to be modernised: this includes replacing light fittings, switches and sockets, laying new electrical wiring, and installing LED lights both inside the buildings and outdoors.

A separate set of works relates to ventilation. It is planned to install 30 supply and extract ventilation systems with heat recovery units in the cottages, and to carry out their connection and commissioning.

The contractor will also be required to remove construction waste and provide a 12-month warranty for the work carried out.

The tender has been re-advertised after the previous attempt to select a contractor failed to result in a contract being awarded.
