09/19/2025, 16:19The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has set new official exchange rates for 20 September. The US dollar remained unchanged at 87.45 KGS per $1.
However, other currencies were affected by changes. The euro, rouble and yuan fell against the KGS. The European currency weakened by 0.55 KGS or 0.53%, from 103.44 to 102.85 KGS. The Russian rouble fell from 1.0489 to 1.0475 KGS, i.e. — by 0.13%.
The Chinese yuan also lost ground against the som, falling from 12.3059 to 12.2958 (-0.08%).
The Kazakh tenge, on the contrary, strengthened slightly, from 0.1615 to 0.1616 KGS, which gave a growth of 0.06%.
