The talks focused on strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the ADB, as well as discussing the country's economic dynamics and the national development program until 2030.
Kasymaliyev noted that the Kyrgyz economy is showing accelerated growth: the average rate over the past three years was 9%, and in the first ten months of 2025, GDP grew by 10%. He stressed that infrastructure and energy projects, including environmental transformation, are key to achieving the goal of increasing GDP per capita and the total volume of the economy by at least 80% by 2030.
Special attention was paid to green modernization at the meeting. Following the talks, Kyrgyzstan and the ADB signed a number of agreements aimed at the environmentally friendly renovation of public buildings, expanding access to energy-efficient housing, and increasing the resilience of water resources to climate challenges. The new initiatives should form the basis for the country's transition to a more sustainable and modern development model.
