06/10/2025, 17:19Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic Iskender Asylkulov held an official meeting with a delegation from the Academy of Social Sciences of the Silk Road (ASSR) and representatives of the business community of the People's Republic of China.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation was provided with detailed information on priority projects and areas of cooperation that are of strategic importance for the sustainable economic development of Kyrgyzstan. Particular attention was paid to pharmaceutical production, tourism, the cotton and wool industries, as well as the ‘green economy’ and renewable energy sources — these sectors are important areas with high growth and modernisation potential for Kyrgyzstan.
The parties discussed opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects, the creation of favourable conditions for investment, and the strengthening of trade and economic ties.
The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, underscoring the mutual interest in further developing a stable and mutually beneficial partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the People's Republic of China.
