Kyrgyzstan and UAE strengthen economic co-operation

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Co-Chairman of the Kyrgyz-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission Abdullah bin Tuq Al-Marri. During the talks, they discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, including the prospects of developing and strengthening economic and trade ties between the two countries.

Both sides expressed readiness to actively develop joint work in promising sectors of the economy and increase trade turnover. An agreement was also reached to hold the third meeting of the Kyrgyz-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission in Bishkek in 2025.

The Emirati side confirmed participation in the investment forum within the framework of the Cooperation Council of Arab States of the Persian Gulf and Central Asia, which will be held in Bishkek this year.
