03/30/2026, 15:51A meeting was held in Tashkent between representatives of the Energy Supervision Service under the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and Uzenergoinspection, with inter-system emergency power outages serving as the key topic of discussion.
During the talks, the parties focused on analyzing the causes of power grid failures that lead to blackouts between countries, and also discussed approaches to preventing them. In particular, they discussed increasing the stability of power supply and improving mechanisms for monitoring and responding to emergencies.
Director of the Energy Supervision Service Zhanibek Alimbekov and Head of the “Uzenergoinspection” Dadajon Isakulov also exchanged information on the structure and functions of their agencies, which should facilitate coordination in the future.
It is noted that the meeting marked the first step toward establishing direct cooperation between the energy inspectorates of the two countries. It is expected that this will not only allow for a more in-depth analysis of the causes of emergency outages but also enable the development of joint measures to mitigate risks.
